Forex gambling method

I'd like to unload these thoughts from my head now.
I have a theory about gambling on the forex market. Because of margin and volatility there is not a 50/50 chance to win a trade, so it is pretty hard to do a risk/reward analysis. However, during the weekends the market does not move. That means it would be something like 50/50 to win or lose, if you put a trade at the last minute. What we need is a gap at opening hours. If no gap at market opening, no loss. Close trade. If a big gap, you win. If it's a gap that is not in your favor, the gap might close to break even after a while or wipe out your account. So the account size should be smaller in a case like this.
So about finding an edge to win the gap... Big economies make the headlines and there are usually scandals and almost ALWAYS bad news during the weekends. They don't write about the good shit. At least any kinds of news mostly result in panic. I would certainly bet against the dollar or GBP these days. That means if something bad happens during the weekend, you get a gap and you win. If nothing happens, you lose nothing. At the very least I would say it's a small edge to the 50/50 situation.
Remember I'm not a trader, I'm a gambler and I'm 100% wasting small amounts of money for the thrill.

A Newbie's Guide to Forex Gambling

Sitting at a bar in my hometown over the holidays, i struck up a conversation with the young bartender who was having a slow night. We talked of life, love, boobies, and...forex. When the conversation turned to future ambitions he dropped the "F bomb" and his eyes lit up green as he passionately explained what forex was. To be honest, i didn't understand half the lingo he was spewing and my interest in the subject was dwindling. Then he brought out the numbers. Holy shit the numbers. On a bar order he showed me how he was going to go from $2000 to $9999999999999 in a number of years. I was getting pretty drunk at this point as the service was lag free when talking to the man. "If it was this easy" i slurred, "why isn't everyone doing this?" He explained to me that everyone in European Land was doing it. He explained he learned the Secrets from a prison Bazillionare who didn't pay his taxes. He told me about his 15 pip system (what is a pip?) and the magic of compounding profits. The bar was getting vibrant again and our conversation got choppy. Between the shots of fireball my buddies were buying me and the game of pool i was crushing at the conversation stopped. I don't remember when we left but i never said goodbye before stumbling out the door.
I woke up feeling FANTASTIC the next day...ughhhh....and had to entertain my girl. In fact I had to visit with family and a few more friends. I did not even have time to think about Forex and went back to my holiday, delusion free.
When i returned home i realized i spent WAY too much money on my holiday. Money, money, money. I wish i was rich. I need to be rich. Rich. Forex. What was that guy talking about? Billions? I could use some bilions. I tapped my IPhone and searched "4X" and eventually found a broker. Woahhhhh slow down, buddy. It's called forex and i bet there is a subreddit for this. Yep! I mean there is a subreddit for dragons banging cars. I didn't understand half the posts until i came across a post promoting babypips. I was going to need a computer and a couple beers for this one.
I read ALL of babypips in one sitting. Granted throughout i was becoming aware of how much studying i was going to need to understand everything but i was getting my feet wet. I learned what a pip, candlestick, R and S levels, money management, and all that fun was. A WORLD was opening up to me and it was COMPLICATED. I was fascinated. I was impatient. I wanted to trade now! I mean, i just had to beat the spread, right?
I opened a demo account on Fxtrade and watched as the charts loaded up. I had a full blown erection at this point. THIS IS SO COOL. Everything was moving so fast. I KNOW WHAT THAT IS. OOOO A DOJI! LOOK AT ALL THE PIPS!!!!!!
At this point you are probably asking how much REAL money i lost. I'm sorry to disappoint you, you sad sad sadistic man. I are smart. At this point i realized mid boner how little i knew. I wanted to read charts, learn the candles, and check out the news. I felt the need to wear a suit as looked at Bloomberg and tickers. THIS WORLD IS AWESOME. I <3 FOREX!
I decided to reward myself for the HOURS of studying i put in. Hours, ha. I was going to take my demo account and guess the market. I wanted to trade so bad and its just pretend money so yea, it's just pretend money. The next 4 hours of my life I got VERY possessive about that pretend money. I was yelling, biting my nails, jumping up and down. Oh, this was the fear and greed aspect people were talking about. WHY DOES IT KEEP GOING DOWN! My pips! My babies!!!
At the end of 4 hours i was down 400 dollars!! I slammed my laptop shut and buried my head in my hands. I am such a shitty trader! Why couldn't i guess the market! Oh....that is right, i was gambling and you know what? I bet with a thousand more hours of studying i would still be gambling. I bet the gambling never stops.
I have so much to learn and so much chart time ahead of me. This is not a get rich quick scheme. Hell, i am convinced you can't get rich without rainman powers and a zillion dollars of starting capital. It's fun, it's exciting, and it's a whole new world that has just opened up to me. So, if you are brand new like me to this world like me take heed to what i learned in my whirlwind introduction and don't be delusional.
  1. You are gambling, even with a strategy
  2. There is a 99.9999999999% chance you won't get rich
  3. You are not rainman
  4. Learn Forex because it's fun and exciting, not to get rich (see #2)
I look forward to learning from this community and i'm beyond excited to dive deeper into this world. Thanks for all the posts that are already here and thanks for the ones you have yet to write. People like me NEED to read them. Bring on the (demo) pips!

Is forex gambling?

The deeper I get into trading, the more and more it feels a lot like gambling. No one really knows the outcome of a trade, no matter how much analysis you do. Does anyone else feel this way? I'm trying not to get discouraged about trading, I'm still new and learning, and want to keep learning.

Forex traders, can you call this trading as gambling and why?

My mom says that "Forex trading is gambling". I try to explain her that it isn't, but she doesmn't believe.

Forex trading is glorified gambling.

Forex traders are basically the same as a gambling addict down at the bookies, they sit and watch a screen all day to guess if the movement is up or down with a little bit of 'analysis' here and there, similar to picking out the best horse in a race.
I've had a go myself and I get it, who doesn't want to see big numbers in green writing?

A ranking bank employee looking to get CEX.IO FROZEN AND SHUTOUT FOR DEPOSITS

Hi,
My personal background is that I am a financial institution employee that deals with Fraud/AML/Auto-Block rules and Analytics that disallow transactions from approving. What we do in theory and literally in practise is what the lay man calls Flagging. The upside of this is: All 5 of Canada's major banks are more or less aboard with decisions once they are finalized.
Case in point: As some of you are aware, there are certain "Forex/Gambling/Money TransfeGold Buying" outlets that just absolutely do not work for transactions regardless of whether you use visa debit/visa credit/swift/direct deposit.
I propose that we as a collective get CEX.IO transactions absolutely banned/flagged for transactions at all the 5 major banks of Canada as well.
There are a multitude of people who are essentially getting their money stuck at CEX after a deposit has been made into it. The risk at this time is CEX just disappearing with the money they hold within their system, so it is high time we take action.
Before you wonder if peoples withdrawals will be affected, I want you to remember that CEX.IO withdrawals are not actioned directly under their own name therefore people will be able to get their money out.
I do not speak on behalf of any institution yet but I speak at the moment in favour of ALL the slighted cex clients in Canada. I want to CEX yo stop holding our money hostage.
If we do this as a collective, this is a move to disable CEX.IO from gaining ANY more funding or customer or new investors from Canada, whose money by far and large these CEX.IO animals would have kept hostage or stolen in the long run. Until CEX fixes itself, this unregulated piece of dog pile should not be taking in more Canadian clients.
Cex is the absolute prime example of blatant misrepresentation.
I'm posting this here to speak to others interested. You do not have to be a Canadian or a customer of Canada's top 5 banks to take part in this.
CEX.IO has always charged a premium price for coins, and high transaction fees, and kept us enslaved at their own whim.
I do work at a position where doing this possible and I know the route quite well. Sheer office paperwork and reporting is one way, but a better expedited process would be through expansive complaints by a large volume of people.
To keep this from happening, I ask CEX to give us REAL timelines and let's make them prioritize the requested withdrawal.
You can call me Batman M - and I'm ready to go head to head with these crooks.
Personal Attachment: I am awaiting a withdrawal for beyond the specifies original timeline now and I've yet to recieve ANY response from the 6 tickets I have filed!

What is HYIP ?

What is HYIP? HYIP stands for High Yield Investment Program. A program which pay very high profit in a very short time. Example - 105% after 1 day. Which means if someone invest $100 in a HYIP then he will get $105 returned after 1 day. HYIP offers different type of investment plans from where investors can earn 120% to 200% in a month even more. But the most important question is 'Does a HYIP really pay?' and the correct answer is YES! but, not all investors will be in profit, even some investors may lose 100% of his investment. It's not uncommon to find a HYIP which is paying from more than 6 months or 1+ year and many of investors has paid by those. Unfortunately, some HYIP don't pay from the very first day so it's important to choose a HYIP wisely. You must be curious that how HYIP produce such a high profit for investors. Most of HYIP tell that they make profits from forex, stocks, high yield bonds, gambling etc. It is possible to make high profits from forex, gambling etc but in reality, more than 95% of HYIP just pay old investors with the money of new investors. But, HYIP don't pay the all amount of money to one old investor. If a HYIP is offering 105% after 1 day and I join today with $100 then the HYIP admin can paid out 20 of investors who were joined yesterday. A standard HYIP run different type of promotional activities to collect new investors daily. There are more than thousand peoples invest in various HYIP daily. However, a HYIP can survive (keep paying) even it don't get new investors on daily basis. How to elect a reliable HYIP? There are more than 10 new HYIP launched daily. But most of those disappear in a few days. At first you should find those expensive HYIPs which have spent a lot of money for building the website and for promotional activities. This is a general calculation that if someone has spent more than $2000 to built a HYIP (+promotions) then he’ll must try to collect more than $2000 from HYIP Investors. In general, admin will keep paying current investors until he collect his desired amount. And many of HYIP admin still run their HYIP after collecting the desired amount. Some expensive HYIP stop unexpectedly if it can't attract investors at all or collect huge money in a very short time. Also choose a HYIP which pay a reasonable returns. For example : 1% daily for 150 days is a reasonable offer but 150% after 1 day or 120% after 1 hours is not a reasonable offer.
To make your research more easy, https://hyiplist.org has a collection of most reliable and elite HYIPs.

Does anyone substitute forex for gambling?

Obviously everyone who doesn't trade likes to say stuff like "forex is like gambling" "dont get into that you will lose all your money" etc
But has anyone substituted forex for gambling? Like quitting the casino and instead start investing and trading?
I know it can definitely feel like your gambling at times when you place a sell order on something you have no idea whats going to happen and then gaining like 50 percent back and seeing the green light up your account
It definitely makes you feel like your on top of the world and you want to do more and more, kinda like with a slot machine
